$AssistVersion field visible in view (in Designer)

After a failed update of a design in Production we discovered with the help of ScanEZ that a ssjs script library contained the field $AssistVersion. We thought that this field only exists on agents but appearantly not. It would have been nice if it was noticable from a view in Designer if such field exists on design elements. This would have saved us a day including rollback, investigation, code-fix, re-deployment.
