Is this really abandoned??
Since this was posted it has been announced there will be no real development on XPages. Is the status Investigating still applicable?
Just updating , Primefaces already has the JSF UI components for React, and Angular https://www.primefaces.org/primereact/#/. All we need now is to allow Domino to use Primefaces instead of XPages and provide the Domino package extracted from XPages into dominoFaces.
In the process, separate a JSF Domino Data package so any JSF application server can use Domino as a back end and if done correctly, we can use another view controller if we do not want Dojo, such as https://www.angularfaces.net/ or https://www.bootsfaces.net/index.jsf
