Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated jointly by the IBM & HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

Using @today and @now in Views without rebuilding the view

now, if these functions are used in columns or selections, the view is rebuilt each time it is opened. This can take a long time for many documents in the view. There are currently a few workarounds, but official support for these features would be very helpful.

but but, the VIEW IS outdated when you use such a function.

What is needed would be a limit or a minumum time before rebuild, as in Max once an X hour or so

At least for @Today. For @Now this would not be such a good idea.
