Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated jointly by the IBM & HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

For more information and upcoming events around #dominoforever, please visit our Destination Domino page.

Several development windows in the designer at the same time (Eclipse)

Again we need the possibility to show several forms in several windows at the same time. As in the Notes client, a document can be displayed in a new window.

In Domino Designer, open a design element (form , view, action, etc.), click on its window tab and drag and drop it into the main pane.  This create two separate independent panes - see sample pics.  You can then use the Window - Reset Perspective command to re-arrange the display into side-by-side displays of each form.  Not quite the same as in notes with 2 separate windows, but you can see / work on both forms/views etc at the same time.
