embedding a view: Allow to compute server + Database + View. Merged

When using the same set of databasess in different instances on the same server (multiple instances) or accross customers, where a view of one database is embedded into a form of another database, this seams to be missing.

(a few years ago I had a customer where the same templates had more than a thousend instances - but lost contact to them, this would have helped them big time).

 

Remark: A few years ago I have seen a pre 2010 document where someone within IBM posted that this is the next task on his desk - and rumors that it can get implemented via dxl roundtripping.

However i would like to see this a) be supported  and b) documented.
