Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated jointly by the HCL Digital Solutions Product Management & HCL Development teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

Renew the Designer Help

The current Designer Help is less good than the old one (V8.5, NSF) . Only Bookmarks is a good feature .  Searching is a real disimprovement; the results look sometimes as if the sort order was determined by someone rolling dices.

In the old help we could also insert our company specific developer helps (i.e. class description, server structur, ...) and in the Notes Client help our own specific help for our users . That's why we, the developers,  currently use both, an old enhanced Lotus Domino Designer 8.5.1 Help and only if really needed, the new integrated one.  If  it would be possible in general to add your own help pages also inClient helps, Designer helps, etc., our users would have an easy to use and standardised Domino Help Center.

    more thoughts:

    - the need for Indexing - given the fact that the content is static - is very Frustrating (e.g. last week, I had to do at a client a few little things on designer on the server -and index was missing, and a lot of folks had to work for this).

However what I like: The option to Limit search to only certain area (e.g. only  @formula and LotusScript for most of my work).
