Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated jointly by the IBM & HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

Reload script library code in Notes agent at compile time

From Jason Hook

  1. You have a script library which is included by an agent.
  2. You are editing the agent
  3. You open and make a change to the script library and save it, e.g. add a parameter to a function
  4. You make the corresponding change in the agent
  5. You save the agent and get an error because your function no longer matches the script library function as loaded when you opened the agent
Why can't the client reload the script library?  Having to close the agent and re-open it is painful.  In other IDE's all of the dependencies are resolved at compile time why not the Notes Designer client?

Huh? this is actually the one case where it works.  It's script libraries in Views, and forms where the library code is not reloded when the library is saved...
