It would be a high time to be implemented in v14
FIVE YEARS of stubborn ignorance. They do not give a shit for the very basics in this product.
Action Hotspot Buttons also need formula labels for translation purposes
Even it could not use any document's content, it could be executed on the user's Notes client, not by the indexer. This means, it could base on user's settings, language, notes.ini etc. Perhaps it even could access profile documents?
The main cause for this would be translation, but if it would be able to access any central configuration, it the view could be some kind of flexible or be more informative.
Think of a view or folder for a certain month with the days as columns. In this case the headers could contain the weekdays (given the month and year is somehow coded in the folder's/view's name)..
The business need for this is to be able to translate the column title in the user's language.
Seems there is now also a third duplicate I-156, so adding same comment here, too:
I would very much like to see the same for the tabs of tabbed tables and buttons - then one could create fully translatable apps.
