Add view property "Never discard view index"

I do not want my view´s indicies to be discarded after X days - I want to keep them forever!

This would be important for databases with many documents, which are rarely opened.

This is not about common Domino standard databases - but of cause self developed ones!

HCL should be MORE AWARE their selves, that Domino IS NOT ONLY a Mail Server tool with some standard databases!

    >>When you run updall as part of dbmt, Domino also ensures that the most important views are built for databases with a template name of StdR7Mail, StdR8Mail, StdR85Mail and StdR9Mail

This should be a view property!!!. I don't remember how many angry phone calls I have to answer and explain that I have no control over this. Work around won't work when you have to manage hundred of databases. Lets leverage the power of Notes template.

    I don't think it' s a good idea to give customized applications a refrence to a Mail-Template.

How about using dbmt to maintain view indexes?

    The help says:

    Rebuild: All used views

But if the view are not used for a time, the indicies will discarded anyway.

Now think of any long time archive databases with many documents. Everytime you enter the database, every view index needs to be built and this takes about 5 minutes per view, for example.

This is unnecessary if I could says:

I have a database and I do not want to loose my view indicies - I need them - even if they are used less frequently!
