Address the "Isn't that a legacy platform?" bias head-on

I often run into other IT people who believe the platform is legacy. This should be part of the marketing campaign.

Establish Domino 10 presence on Facebook to showcase product as a whole, with some reference customer apps. Link to some short YouTube videos showing how easy it is to build apps in both Notes client and for the Web - could contrast with MS offerings. (Remember Apple vs Microsoft adverts from a few years ago)

Also video(s) showing Notes Mail/Verse in action vs Outlook'/Exchange - although this may need some cosmetic refreshes to the Mail template.....  Could also mention how easy it is to customise the Mail template....

Prepare a ROI using Notes Mail vs Exchange - both from a user and support perspective.  You only need 1 - 2 administrators to support a major installation (in the 10,000's of users if not 100,000's) e.g. for companies with EMEA presence or in the US/Canada with multiple offices. Compare the support costs for Exchange vs Notes on Premise and in the Cloud.

Demonstrate Verse & Connections both in the Cloud and on premise.

Push the RAD aspect of Domino/Notes development using modern tools (Jave, Node.js etc as well as the older tolls (LotusScript / Formual language.

Demonstrate that apps written in the 90's still work natively on Domino 10 without changes.  Nobody else does it like Domino!

Marketing focused not only on the existing Domino community, but also to the public. I recently showed our Support Desk team the "Work the Web" campaign from the 90s and said I think that was the last time that there was advertising directed to the public about the platform.

This is already in progress. Do you have any more specific ideas on how to get it done?
