HCL Domino Ideas Portal

Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Forum! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

Whitelist Active Content Filter on iNotes

We can use the parameter iNotes_WA_DisableActCntSecurity=1 to disable the Active Content Filter on iNotes and this removes potentially harmful active content from HTML in mail messages prior to display in a browser.

However, using the parameter will disable all potentially harmful active contents from HTML (JavaScript, Java, ActiveX).

There should be a way or a parameter to enable/disable each content individually, such as disable only javascript or Java or ActiveX and so on, and not all of them at once.

Can you provide an example where allowing active content in an email that came from an external source is a good idea?
