Domino Router: deliver emails even when the mail file is unavailable on one of the cluster nodes and the server is put into restricted mode.

Domino Servers in a cluster can have a recovery situation where one of the cluster nodes is put into restricted mode with mail files\databases unavailable interim because of the recovery process.

Then even with the notes.ini entry -"MAILFILEENABLEDELIVERYFAILOVER=1" the emails Sent to the users with the mail file mentioned as the restricted server in the person documents, get stuck in the other node servers mail.box.

Example:

1) The Mail File for a user on Server A was deleted as a part of the recovery process to address corruptions after a crash.

2) Then server A is put into a restricted mode(Server_Restricted=1) as well as enabled for mail failover with the ini entry - "MAILFILEENABLEDELIVERYFAILOVER=1".

2) The Cluster Database Directory (CLDBDIR.nsf) displays the mail file availability only on Secondary Cluster Node - Server B.

3) Email Sent to the user starts getting Held\Stuck in the Server B mail.box.

The expectation is to have the Domino Router the capability to deliver emails in such situations even when the mail file is unavailable on one of the cluster nodes and put into restricted mode.

Domino Router should have the capability to deliver emails even when the mail file is unavailable on one of the cluster nodes and the server is put into restricted mode.
