Record Replication History between servers and not replicate the History itself - Not a new idea

This changed somewhere along the line, previously, the history was for the server replica and the servers it replicated with  whereas now, the history itself replicates and in a hub and spoke scenario, this clouds the whole replication history and makes troubleshoot really difficult as we have over 100 servers.

Scenario:

HubServer1 replicates to - SpokeServer1

HubServer1 replicates to - SpokeServer2

HubServer1 replicates to - HubServer2

HubServer2 replicates to - SpokeServer3

HubServer2 replicates to - SpokeServer4

While HubServer1 does not directly replicate with SpokeServer3, Replication History now shows the replicated replication history:

HubServer1 Replication History has Sent and Received entries from:

HubServer2

SpokeServer1

SpokeServer2

SpokeServer3

SpokeServer4

I believe this is due to replication triangulation. Check out Replication history contains entries for more servers than a database replicates with and Domino Replication Fundamentals and Troubleshooting

Looking at the documentation, it looks like you can disable this if you really want/need to.

Maybe a new checkbox could be added to the replication history dialog so entries related to the "triangulation" functionality could be displayed/hidden?
