Debian and Ubuntu meet the basic support requirements for best effort support like all other Linux platforms meeting the basic support requirements. Check the release notes for details about kernel, glibc and libstdc++ versions.

    I agree with Ivan.
IMHO, if Debian will be officially supported, all other "forks" of Debian (AstraLinix, UBUNTU, etc.) could be easier to make as a supported platform.

    Ivan Kuzmenkov, #hlcmasters:

Thomas, we talk not about "all" distributions available but major Linux distribs which are core to other derivatives, any local country (Russia, China, Brasil and so forth) specific. I.e. support for Debian would make it easier to promote Domino for Ubuntu or AstraLinux

    Hi,

I've found, Domino Applications on Cloud (DAC) using UBUNTU as Linux platform for Domino 10. (see attached screenshot). Thant means UBUNTU is OFICIALLY supported platform for Domino 10

As for the Domino Server the Linux OS support will remain as is. However, you can expect Domino to work on other Linux distributions as well but when it comes to support tickets you need to proof the problem also exists on a supported operating system. We simply can not test and certify all different distributions.
