User Licencing Tracking mechanism or serial numbers

Currently IBM audits are quite painfull , I wish there is simple functionality in Domino Directory Profile where Customer enter number of licences purchased.

" I confirm I purchased 1000 licences, and system allows to create 1000 users, when above, system notifys that additional licences should be purchased. "

When new users added, this number is checked and if needed admin is notified on violation".

Administrators are rarely aware how many licences purchased, but simple but efficient notification and tracking will help customer be compliant, buy additional licences in time.

This will also simplify audits for majority of customers, since we see how they commited and reported internally to databases used licences.

This will also reduce piracy, since there is no block to buy 1 licences, and use 1000. As result ICS Software get less money, and less funding for product.

Dont forget also about ASL, when licence is owned by BP, and customer directly does not appear in IBM databases.
