Include Archive databases in the Domino Administration Process

Include Mail Archive databases in the Domino Administration Process

For example when a mail file (that has an archive database)  is deleted, the administration process does not delete the archive database. It will be useful that the AdminP process would consider in the thread of deletion the archive database, and would create an approval request for the administrator to get rid of the archive at this stage or to leave it in the server?

Also renames are not correctly handled currently on the archive databases, as when running compact -a the Adminstrator server of the archive ( is the archive is in a different server than the mail file ) gets overwritten with the mail's server administrator server.

The part regarding the admin server was addressed in 10.01FP4 and ND11 where there was no replica of the archive on the mail server, only a remote server. See SPR MSKABBBJE5 :

The INI ARCHIVE_PRESERVE_ADMIN_SERVER=1 can be set on a server that performs archiving to preserve the admin server of the archive db during an archive operation. Normally, as part of the ACL being copied during archiving of a mail file to an archive db the admin server will be copied as well. In cases where a copy of the archive is on the same server as the mail file this is not a problem. But if there is no archive copy on the mail server, then the archive db will have an admin server that is different. This situation is not common.
