Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated jointly by the IBM & HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

For more information and upcoming events around #dominoforever, please visit our Destination Domino page.

Allow NSD to be submitted to HCL in addition to local crash db

if clients could report their crashed to HCL/IBM, HCL could have better understanding what happens, or what crashes on servers.

It does not mean HCL should come back, but HCL will then know that in version XX.YY, some issue still causing problems.

Lets make Domino great again.

Allowing end users to submit corporate date directly to the vendor might/would expose security. Thats why NSDs should be collected within the environment first, and from there an upload could be performed.

It is common today - when setting up your new android phone for example - to be asked to allow usage data to be sent directly to Google to assist in improving the product.  You see this on about every app you install these days.  If users are worried about that, opt out.  Domino could have a setup policy setting to force corporate users to opt out (or opt in) as dictated by company policy.  Companies that allow sending of crash data however, would in the end provide HCL with a huge data warehouse of NSDs.  We desperately hope HCL could proactively provide fixes for common issues without customers needing to invest hours to log support tickets.

Probably notes.ini parameter CRASH_SENDTOIBM = 1 which is designed for the server, works on the Client too?
BTW, somebody should change the email address used from IBM email to HCL email.
