Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated jointly by the IBM & HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

LotusScript will directly support HTTP PUT/POST/GET/DELETE/etc METHODS. Which means Connections APIs can be called directly inside LotusScript. Authentication could be one aspect need to be considered, how to allow me to push a button inside Domino to post an article to my Connections blog? The API will need to get an an auth token (ltpaToken or something else) to perform the task.

For Web Applications like Verse & Connections Files, they share ltpaToken through browser session cookie. However, when calling Connections API inside LotusScript, nothing get shared.
