Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated jointly by the IBM & HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

My idea is not to Sametime Meetings, but for the server. Sametime servers should add support to Oracle and/or SQL Servers database

It would be much easier and would decrease the needĀ of resourcesĀ if it was possible to have Oracle and/or SQL Servers as database.

or even better...get rid of the need to use an RDBMS at all. There was a time when ST Meetings would only require a Domino server underneath. Looking at the upcoming Domino 10 node.js support, wouldn't it be great if ST Meetings would run as a (set of containerized) node.js apps side-by-side with Domino?
