Ability for user to make own filters for data grids.

Similar as to how app developers can make filters for their data grids, couldn't one expand on this allowing the user to build their own filters via the interface?

For example, data grid dumps all records dependent on a selection of chosen columns pre-selected by the administrator.

The user can however, through pull downs and corresponding operation fields together with AND / OR make n filters.

The rudimentary idea is to getChildren from the data grid and build a drop down with the available fields: we can thereby derive the Title, ID and type.

My initial considerations are that we need to get the data grid column header IDs, but also find a method to manipulate the operation field i.e., depending on selected column header, the adjacent field becomes active with operations that adjust accordingly, e.g., date behave differently to text field.
