What is interesting is that when we send e-mail out the message is encoded in both text/plain and text/html.
Ideally we would utilize this to show the message in the text/plain option where available like other clients offer.
I was contemplating an option create an accessible mail12.ntf that simply does that body conversion to text but that would require an admin to change for the user who needs that type of feature.
For the Notes Client you can update the mail template or insert a function for the user to display the richtext mail body as plain text by using @Text
