Open read-only .vcf with Notes

When opening visit card files ~ .vcf from Firefox, Firefox saves those files temporarily read-only in %temp%.

Notes does not open read-only .vcf, but instead produces an error message.

Please make Notes capable of opening read-only .vcf, since there is no need for changes to those, when importing contacts. All users of Mozilla Firefox would benefit.

    I would not think so for two reasons:
    1. It is either way a bug, not to be able to import a read-only file, when there is no need for changes to the file
    2. From Mozilla's point of view this handling of temporary files is a security improvement

    Is this something that Mozilla should fix since it would affect any application that would try to import the VCF?
