Location Choice Integration for Shared Login in Notes Client

Currently, our customer utilizes a Notes shared login system. However, they have expressed the need to select a location upon launching the Notes Client. Typically, under a shared login scenario, this option isn't available as the system doesn't prompt for a password window. The customer is seeking a solution to accommodate this requirement within the constraints of their shared login setup. They are interested in exploring if there's a possibility to enable location selection despite utilizing a shared login mechanism.

That is not god enough. The Notes Client takes 5 to 10 minutes to start at our customer in offline environment if the location is online.

The Customer is working at hospitals where there is no internet at MR Scanners. If the technician has been online at the office and is now starting the Notes client at a hospital site, the client takes 5 to 10 minutes to start and to get responsive before the technician can change to Offline location.

You are welcome to contact me for further information.

As you probably already know, you can change the location after authentication
