IBM Notes and "Privacy by Design" & "Privacy by Default" within the framework of GDPR Description.

IBM Notes and "Privacy by Design" & "Privacy by Default" within the framework of GDPR
Description
Within GDPR you will find the requirements for "Privacy by Design" & "Privacy by Default".

Within IBM Notes you could create "private" contacts, calendar entries and To Do's.

The requirement for "Privacy by Default" expected, that the default is "private" and every user should be able to make it "public".

Do we have any workarounds to have the default "private" ?
Do we have a solution / ER to achieve the GDPR requirement ?

If you want to be GDPR compliant, then Dominos if by far the best platform you can get. If offers a lot of built in tools like database and network encryption, document level security, field level security, agents to cleanup old data or send notifications etc.

The only thing you might need is a better logger, like this -> https://gdpr-logger.com/

And then you need polices, procedures, user training and risk analysis - but IBM can't help you with this
