Incorporate a tiled Workspace background image

I love the customisable Notes Workspace background!

 

However, it considers a single image and then stretches/compresses that image to consume the entire background.

It would be fantastic if we could tell the background to tile the image. We could then select an image that tiles properly to produce a seamless background with no loss of image quality.

    How am I supposed to get there? Still the same dialogues as before: just select an image and that's it then

    And what about a background image per tab?

    That would be so handy. Then you can tile a company or application logo on a tab. I am a businesspartner and a tab represents one of my customers.

    and change filetype selector in Choose... dialog - replace specific types GIF,JPG,BMP with one "All supported types"
