Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated jointly by the IBM & HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

Redesign login & properties dialog. Simple & huge impact

Anyone using IBM notes or Lotus notes is greeted by the same, ancient looking login dialog when opening the notes client - not to mention the property boxes within the product. A nice, clean new design would be super simple to implement but it'd be a MAJOR improvement in making people feel like the product is entering a new chapter.

You can already create a custom login screen in domcfg.nsf.  However, a new default modern one may be helpful.

My point isn't web login - yes you can customize your own and yes, a default more modern one would be awesome; but the Notes client password dialog.

It's always "you can customise whatever you want in Notes with some programming or tool" but why would any normal user ever want to do that?
