Easier method for users to renew certificates

As it is, the user gets a warning and has to click on okay at which point the instructions for how to renew their certificate go away.  It is not as if it is just one step.  Having gone through I don't know how many expired certificates since 1999 and just having had to do it again I am wondering about a possible change.  Can you just make a button?  They could just then enter their password and select the admin to send it to.  Then put a button in the email they get back to insert the certificate instead of more instructions with two attachments they have no idea they need to just leave alone.  It is a lot of steps and only has to be done every x number of years.  Please.
