Workspace Notes

IBM Notes Workspace folder path can be defined through notes.ini.

Currently to change the workspace path of Notes client is to edit edit "C: \IBM\Notes\framework\rcp\rcplauncher.properties" and specify desired path of workspace folder.

It is desirable that users can easily change settings via notes.ini OR in the case, if you change the "Directory" value in notes.ini for data directory, the workspace folder generation path will also change. If this settings are integrated in notes.ini will be helpful to Notes users.

In my opinion, there is a disconnect between the configurations and the behavior of the notes client when it is launched with the =notesinipath.ini parameter.

When you create multiple configurations with different notes.ini Notes creates a single \notes\workspace folder. This is undesirable, as each user's workspace folder must be separate. In practice, the absence of a variable that allows you to specify the workspace folder via Notes.ini denies the possibility of having different =notes.ini, because the workspace folder remains identical for each different configuration.

The Notes client is designed to operate using the Data folder specified in the notes.ini item "Directory".
The "Workspace" folder is a specification that is created in the Data folder.
    Isn't it just a bug?
