HCL Domino Ideas Portal

Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Forum! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

Forward / reply – function in the Verse app

When replying to or answering mails in the Verse app, the e-mail thread is attached with all existing formatting. The normal way of processing e-mails in our organization is to directly put remarks, action items etc. in the original mail thread and marking them in some way (e.g. color). This is currently not possible, if you open the mail thread for editing, you loose all formatting at once. This should be changed as to preserve the formatting when editing mails.

Also a couple of problems exist:

Forward attachments: attachments have to opened first, when forwarding them. If you forget this step, no warning is given, that the attachment is missing in the forwarded mail

Forward to mail-in databases: if you forward an encrypted mail to to a mail-in database, the check mark encryption has to be manually unchecked.

Edit forwarded mails: you first need to select the three dots in the upper right corner and then choose “Inline edit”. This is not self-explaining.
