I am going to mark this as shipped because we do have off-line capability. There is no limit on how many emails and attachments can be stored but having more email / attachments will slow down performance. To have a true offline experience as with DOLs is not going to happen. But you will be hearing more about a new client from HCL that will be very similar to VOP but have true offline. Stay tuned please.
The old DOLS client was quite a good try but badly maintained and way to heavy. A similar but light weight app would be great.
As an alternative, VoP could be delivered through Progressive Web App (PWA) technology, which allows offline capabilities on both desktop and mobiles, without having to install a client software.
In addition to offline capabilities (which normal Browsers are somewhat able to provide), I agree that some of our customers may like VoP in an Electron Client, as Browser updates may break certain application features.
