The Ablity To Have A Forwarding Address For Suspended Accounts

From SPR MVEO97ZQXX, considered enhancement request
To some degree, close to existing enhancement request in current ideation blog "Allow mail to route after suspending S1, SCN or Verse Account"

Customer wants to be able to use Forwarding address for suspended users.
Currently, internal SCN mails for suspended users lead to DFRs "User is not Active", even when the user has a Forwarding address set in the on-premises Person Document
Customer would like that the mails are delivered to the forwarding address in the Person Record instead.
 

Suggestions from the customer to accomplish this  :

1) Everything remains the same but the internet address value will be cleared if a user becomes suspended
2) The user record will be listed in the Company Directory like an active user and the suspend things will be done by another setting(s)

    We need something similar, but we want that incoming emails should be delivered to the suspended mailbox.

    We need this if an employee leaves the company and we should disable user access with only a few clicks.

    We often get the info what should happen with incoming emails a few days after.
